Ed Ridolfi



Always mindful that the first soup was probably a simple, ancient accident, Ridolfi’s tastes follow the variations of some of the most common soups: hot & sour, chicken noodle (never rice), onion and the soup/stew variations of chowder and gumbo. In 2008, weary of asking ‘What’s the soup?’, Ridolfi posed the question to his friend and co-founder Heather Cathcart. From that collaboration bubbled a website dedicated to that highest culinary test for chefs everywhere: soup. A resident of Newburyport, MA, Ridolfi can be found checking menus and always ordering a bowl, not a cup of the soup of the day.
